The phone often rings at supper time and this number appears on my call display. If I answer I hear a party in progress and no-one answers the phone. After 3o seconds I am disconnected and if I phone back--did this twice-- a voice says "there is no-one to speak to you. Have a shitty day."

Said I had to call back or I was going to be arrested and this was a serious matter and I better not ignore the requests.

I have Recieved a call from this number, a few times now, and when I answered they hung up. It's a local call from here so I'm reporting it to the local police and phone company as phone harrassment. A few more calls and I'll be putting a stop to it. And those responsible in jail.

Caller ID identifies caller as "Jamaica Phone Call." The caller does not leave a message.

Demanding I call immediately. have called family members. said I have been named in affidavid (sp?). Said he was from State Financial Crimes Investigation. He told me to fax him my bank statement. Would settle out of court. Otherwise would cost me thousands. Is same man (only different name) that has called many times before. Asked him to stop and he refused. Became beligerant. I asked for legal papers to be sent and if I got them and they were legitimate I would send them a money order. He would not confirm he would mail them. Instead was insisting I fax him my bank account statement immediately before 5 pm. Calls stopped for a short while then started up again. Now he's using another name "officer" Josh Watson...lol, He is definetely foreign.

Man with a havy accent says he is with American Legal Services and his name is Peter Jones. Calls are annoying and harassing. He calls all day and part of the evening on my cell phone and work phone. Says that there is trouble on my SS# and name. never says exactly what it is related to but says to call right back and if I don't bad things will happen. This constitutes threatening and harrasment! Whatever you do, do not give anyone like this any financial information because they are scamming!

They are worse than a telemarketer, it's clear that they are scammers. They keep calling, always using a phony caller-ID (changing it from time to time.) I always press "1" to talk to them but they usually hang up the instant I ask for the company's name or the real phone number. One time I got one to talk a moment.. they insisted that they were legit but that they weren't allowed to give me their phone number. A supervisor got on and said "sure, the number is... (click)". The FTC obviously can't do anything since they're clearly a secret den of thieves and not a business that would be concerned with FCC fines. How do we get the FBI involved?

Called me 4 times today. Called back after the 3rd time and pressed 1 to be placed on a DNC list. They called back 90 minutes later and I told them not to call me anymore. I'm on the federal DNC list and filed a complaint with the FCC. They call again and I'm calling the police.
